Charming with a dash of quirkiness

The sincere hospitality from the staff was the highlight of my stay. They went above and beyond, effortlessly carrying my luggage up the stairs and generously provided local dining tips. Breakfast was delightful, with freshly baked pastries that started my day off perfectly.

However, the lack of an elevator was quite challenging, especially with luggage. The room was on the small side and slightly dated but clean. A bit of noise from the street added to the ambiance but may be a detractor for light sleepers.

The absence of an elevator can be a workout!!! Plus, with only one plug socket located awkwardly at floor level, charging devices is a messy challenge. The small bathroom lacks sufficient mounting, leaving much to be desired!!!

I stayed for 2 nights in the Superior Double or Twin Room and loved the clean and comfortable space. The bed was cozy, which made for nice sleep after exploring all day. The room had a quirky charm, and the air conditioning worked well during the hot nights, a big plus! However, the view was a bit of a letdown, facing a dirty kitchen yard. Still, the bathroom shower had reliable hot water, which was great.

This place was just a well-suited match for a cursory stop in Florence with fantastic value for money. I appreciated the clean shower and the effort they put into maintaining it despite a few water pressure issues.

We enjoyed a lovely two-night stay in a spacious room with stunning views of the vibrant street life. The helpful staff made our visit memorable, and the outdoor terrace was a perfect spot for evening relaxation. Don't miss out on the Italian coffee at breakfast!
